Lily (Anya Taylor-Joy - Broken) and Amanda (Olivia Cooke - Ouija) are childhood friends who have drifted apart, but after a few years they meet again. Lily has become a sophisticated, aristocratic teenager who attends a fashionable and expensive boarding school, while Amanda has grown into a sharp-witted, sharp-tongued, eccentric teenager. Although they seem to be a mismatched pair, the two girls form an alliance of protection and defiance against Lily's insufferable stepfather.
